House is home with the kitchen.

The fresh food that is cooked in the kitchen makes our day. Those who stay away from home, know the actual value of home made food. Those fresh spices, freshly chopped salads and the smell of the homemade cookies are so heavenly that the kitchen can take you in the twilight zone.

It is quiet obvious why kitchens are the most busiest and important room of the house. A room being so important has also lot of things to store and manage. So the storage space in the kitchen needs to be increased and much more developed.

The eye catchy cabinets, beautiful counter tops, cool backslashes and the lights are the main exteriors that beautify your kitchen as well as store things. But always the important things are inside. The interiors and the space that these elements provide are what actually matter. How the interiors of these kitchen cabinets are designed is very important. You must choose those accessories in the kitchen that will make the work in the kitchen easier and much more functional.

While storing things, one must carefully use the space available. Most importantly, using the perfect storage accessories makes your everyday life much more systematic and organized.

Here, I have jotted down some important tips that you must remember while you think of customizing your storage system in the kitchen as well as pantry.

1. Sizes of the drawers and pullouts

It is good to adjust the shelf height to fit the items that are going to be organized. In this manner you get a much more efficient cabinet. It will be better if you can have a row of shallow drawers. This will be a much more safe storing rather than the open shelves.

Do a repeated analysis before you plan the storage system for kitchen design.

2. Apothecary drawers

The apothecary drawers are designed to store all the smaller things like the coffee cups, straws, pet treats, sugar packets, tuna cans and tea bags.

3. The tray dividers

Kitchens do have cookie sheets, cupcake trays, cutting boards and platters. Two or three of the cabinets must have these tray dividers in the kitchen.

4. Vertical heights for the pantry

Actually vertical storage is the space that is generally wasted but it's a good idea to use it. It is a good idea to store spice and bit taller pantry storage in it.

5. Storage for wines and bottles

You can store the wine bottles in the refrigerator under the counter or you may add a wine rack.

6. Store spices in a particular place

Often, we keep spice bottles in such places that later they make it difficult to be discovered. Therefore, you must store them in some particular place.

7. Peg system is good for storing dishes in the drawers

With this system installed in your cabinetry, you will be able to lift the dishes easily and save them from getting scratched.

8. Consider space to store dish towel

Now this is something that is really good. Rather than letting the dish towels hanging here and there and everywhere in the kitchen, make a special space in the cabinet where they can be left hanging so that you can use them whenever you need them without searching them all around the kitchen.

9. Flaunt your crystal items and art glass

On top of the gorgeous wood shelves, your beautiful crystal and artifact of glass should be showcased. Let your elegant collection and choice mesmerize your guests.

Summing up

These are the few logical ways of keeping the things systematically arranged in the kitchen. Design your kitchen cabinets properly to avail more storage space in the kitchen.
